Merry Terry

It’s that time of year, all around you see

Decorations of all kinds, especially trees

One is special, with those different leaves

She’s not “real”, some say with pet peeves

No smell of pine, she’s fake they say

But Terry sees all the smiles she makes

Made of plastic she “must be from LA”

Terry stands tall, throughout the season, day by day

They joke she came from a box that’s tattered

But the joy she creates is real, so what does it matter?
