It’s post tuck and dark as fuck.
And I’m only up cuz of that late night Thai duck.
My stomach is growling something mean.
And all I can think of is this golden stream.
I can’t see a thing but I know the way.
The hall is clear, I’ve seen it during the day.
There’s one more corner it’s right up here.
Two more steps (THUMP!) and NOW come the tears.
My toe my toe, I’ve stubbed my toe!
One down from the row; just turned straight to dough.
Damn that hurts, it’s really that bad.
I grab it tight to help it a tad.
They say this helps, just holding it tight.
But fear of losing my toe has me in a fright.
I think it feels better I’m afraid to let go.
But I’m going to fall hopping on only one row.
I let it loose, it seems just fine.
Why does it hurt SO BAD EVERY SINGLE TIME?
